The transition toward a circular economy is increasing the need for transparency and better data across product lifecycles. The Digital Product Passport is emerging as a key tool to support this shift, enabling more sustainable, traceable, and service-oriented systems.
At the APMS 2026 Conference, partners of the PSS-Pass Horizon project will play a central role by organizing a dedicated special session. The session is led entirely by project partners, including University of Bergamo, ATB Bremen, TECNALIA, and Engineering Ingegneria Informatica, highlighting the collaborative strength of the consortium.
Special Session on the Digital Product Passport
Titled “The Digital Product Passport: Filling the Gap for Enhancing Transparency and Sustainability Across the Product Lifecycle,” the session will explore how Digital Product Passport data can be transformed into actionable insights. It will focus on approaches such as AI-supported life cycle assessment, simulation tools, and semantic technologies to enable better decision making, support circular strategies, and create new value across industries.
Call for Paper Submission
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit papers aligned with the session topic by March 28, 2026. Accepted contributions will be published in Springer indexed proceedings, with opportunities for journal extension.
Submit your work and contribute to shaping the future of Digital Product Passports and circular product-service systems. Do not miss the submission deadline of March 28, 2026 and take the opportunity to share your research with an international community at the APMS 2026 Conference.
