The transition toward a circular economy is accelerating the need for transparent, reliable, and accessible product data. At the forefront of this transformation is the Digital Product Passport (DPP) — a powerful enabler of traceability, sustainability, and circular value creation across product lifecycles.
At this year’s Digital Transformation Summit 2026, PSS-Pass joins forces with leading European initiatives — Cir4Fun, CIRPASS-2, and DATA4CIRC — to co-organize a dedicated workshop titled: “The Digital Product Passport: Traceability in Action”
Within the session, the PSS-Pass project will present its latest advancements in evolving traditional product passports into Digital Product Service System Passports (DPSSP).
The presentation will explore:
- How real-time “track and trace” data can be captured across the product lifecycle
- The integration of AI-driven forecasting tools to enhance sustainability decision-making
- The shift from static lifecycle assessments to predictive and service-oriented strategies
By combining data, services, and intelligence, PSS-Pass is helping to unlock new circular business models and extend product lifetimes.
This session offers a unique opportunity to explore how structured product data can evolve into a dynamic engine for sustainability. By connecting digital identities, lifecycle insights, and advanced analytics, DPPs are paving the way for more transparent, compliant, and circular industrial systems.
